OPEN MIND EXHIBITION
Open Mind Exhibition is a exhibition that I founded and started in 2016 to help raise awareness for mental health through art. It will aim to be run as annual event in October, mental health month,
to continue to raise awareness and break the stigma.
The exhibition was self run and curated as personal project and will continue to improve &
grow each year. Participation fees and donations made during the showing dates were donated
to Black Dog Institute that researches and provides resources for those dealing with
mental health issues and suicide prevention.
The exhibition was open to all submission from local artists who submitted their own artworks and mediums. All artworks were relating to mental health whether it was personal experience, journeys, stories or inspiration.
To attract artist & to promote the exhibtion I had to use multiple avenues of social media.
This included share posts, web banners and external advertising.
